Established for over 30 years, this leading provider of mobile equipment to the underground mining industry continues to go from strength to strength. With a solid domestic and international reputation, this company provide a range of mobile diesel and electric powered e quipment to the thermal and coking coal industry.
With the company€™s order book continuing to strengthen within a broad range of markets and products, an opportunity has arisen for a Lead Design Engineer to joins its Newcastle engineering centre.
We are seeking a tertiary qualified mechanical engineer proficient in 3D Modelling and FEA such as Strand 7 or ANSYS. Furthermore you€™ll have solid experience working with a mining OEM and ideally have excellent knowledge of diesel powered or electric powered mining equipment. A further knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is essential along with a proven track record in managing projects and leading a team of engineers.
