Assistant/ Financial Accountant
Working just outside Newcastle, this Assistant Accountant, Financial Accountant role is a contract role that will shine on your resume.
The purpose of the contract is to assist in reconciliation and journal processes that are managed in accordance with statutory requirements and obligations.
You will be working to tight deadlines, for completion of Monthly & Annual Financial Statements in accordance with Accounting Standards. Other duties will include:

- Completion of Bank Statement reconciliation to financial records.
- Reconciliation of the Financial Statements to subsidiary ledgers
- Processing of the necessary journals and adjustments of t reconciling items .
- Work in conjunction with Revenue Dept in the timely reconciling of revenue receipts
- Assist in the development of improvements to the receipt clearance process.
